Xplor is a natural park situated very close to Cancun (45 minutes from it) and it has been cleverly designed to satisfy the need of adventurous people due to the wide set of activities available in its 59 hectares. Even though Xplor opened in 2009, its story began a long time before than that date. The site where Xplor is was created 65 million years ago when an asteroid struck the Yucatan Peninsula and made an giant crater that was filled with water. Consequently, this created a stunning system of caves. Moreover, during million and million of years this caves were beautifully shaped by nature with, for example, stalagmites, stalactites and an underground river. Many million years later, humans thought that this would be a special place to explore and, since then, has given people the opportunity to get to know this natural part in the history of Mexico.

So in order to explore around the park you can engage in several tours and activities.  Fortunately, Xplor has zip-lines, amphibious vehicles and an underground world that will astound you. In the zip-line tours, you will be flying over treetops (of up to 26 feet high) with their different 14 zip lines. Also, another excellent tour at Xplor is driving amphibious vehicles on trails from 1.5 to 3 miles that go through the jungle, grottos and inside caves as well.
